چکیده

Background and Aim: The Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) 2019 consensus defined sarcopenia as "age-related loss of muscle mass, plus low strength, and/or physical performance". Low mass is using height-adjusted on whole body dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) <7.0 kg/m2 in men <5.4 women. We looked at the prevalence a cohort cirrhotic patients DEXA Scan. aimed to assess adult with cirrhosis evaluated liver transplantation. Methods: Patient who attended transplant clinic between November 2021 May 2022 were included study. All underwent scan part pre-transplant evaluation. Height adjusted was recorded all patients. Demographic, biochemistry clinical parameters, etiology, CTP score, MELD-Na score Results: During study period 55 scan. Mean age 49.53 yrs (34-68). Most common etiology alcohol followed by NASH. Over 23.6%. more prevalent males (25%) than females (14.3%). In mean 26 (18-33) 12 (7-14). not statistically different without mass. Patients tend have advanced age, difficult control ascites.
